Experienced Orthodontic Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Orthodontist.

Duties

• Assist Orthodontist during procedures by preparing the treatment area and ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
• Perform medical imaging procedures such as Pan's, PA's, Bitewings, and iTero scans ensuring compliance with safety protocols including HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to fit bands, setup for bonding, steel tie and ormolasts for arch wires.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols

Experience

• Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to orthodontics is advantageous.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices will be beneficial when working with younger patients.
