Euclid Family Dental is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing family-oriented dental practice in Euclid, Ohio.

We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and general dental procedures
• Perform EFDA duties within the scope of Ohio regulations
• Place and finish restorations as permitted
• Take dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper infection-control protocols
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with patient education and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient
• Work efficiently with the dentist and entire dental team
• Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Current Ohio EFDA certification/license
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
• Friendly and compassionate attitude
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus!
