Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with understanding their dental treatment plans and financial options
• Explain treatment procedures, costs, and insurance coverage clearly and accurately
• Coordinate with dental providers to ensure treatment plans are correctly documented and communicated
• Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
• Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and follow up on outstanding payments or authorizations
• Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating patient needs and provider availability
• Maintain strict adherence to health regulation policies and protect patient confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting with strong administrative support skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
• Knowledge of health regulation policies and insurance procedures relevant to dental practices
• Familiarity with Medical Administrative Support functions, including patient management software and EHR/EHR systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental treatments
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining compliance with confidentiality standards
• Skilled in typing quickly and accurately to manage documentation efficiently

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
