Dental Treatment Coordinator

Overview

As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you’ll help patients understand their recommended care and navigate the steps from treatment planning to scheduling. You’ll coordinate communication among patients and the dental team, explain insurance and administrative processes, and keep records accurate and confidential. Duties

• Review treatment plans with patients, explain next steps, and respond to questions with care and clarity.
• Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and patient communications by phone and other channels.
• Verify health insurance details, explain coverage information, and support related administrative processes.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software, ensuring documentation is accurate and confidential.
• Provide medical administrative support, manage office tasks, and use Microsoft Office for correspondence and records.

Experience

• Medical office or other office experience, with customer service and client communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance, and health regulation policies.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), EHR management, or patient management software is helpful.
• Strong phone communication, typing, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Pay: $23.98 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
