Responsibilities

• Welcome patients warmly, answer their questions, and provide clear explanations of treatment options and procedures
• Schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software and confirm upcoming visits via phone or email
• Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and assist patients with health insurance inquiries in accordance with policy guidelines
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all patient information complies with health regulation policies and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate with dental professionals to coordinate treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and billing procedures
• Manage phone communication professionally, addressing patient concerns promptly and effectively
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and maintaining organized patient files

Skills

• Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting, demonstrating familiarity with healthcare administrative processes
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance policies, and health regulation standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and experience with patient management software or Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patients
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient records
• Skilled in phone communication, client interaction, and managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Typing speed and accuracy to support documentation needs effectively
