Dental Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office operations and proficiency in relevant software systems.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to ensure a smooth experience.
• Perform insurance verification and assist patients with their insurance inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage correspondence.
• Process patient billing and payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Utilize Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management and record keeping.
• Collaborate with dental staff to support clinical operations and enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental billing processes and insurance verification is essential.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
