Dental Office Patient Care Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Office Reception/Patient Care Coordinator to join our excellent team. This role is essential in creating a positive experience for our patients while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have prior dental office experience, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to patient care and service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule patient appointments for hygiene and doctor visits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Prepare and present accurate treatment plans to patients
• Submit insurance claims through Dentrix and follow up on outstanding claims
• Handle patient billing, collections, and account management
• Monitor and maintain appointment schedules to meet monthly production goals
• Support the dental team with administrative needs while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Skills

• Two or more years of dental office experience required (front desk, treatment coordination, or similar)
• Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and billing procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
