Dental Hygienist

Job Description:

Summit Dental is a privately-owned, well established dental practice located in Asheville, NC. We are currently seeking a part-time (M-W) and fill-in (Flexible: 1 to 2 days/week) registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing, patient-centered team.

The perfect candidate would be an energetic and patient-focused hygienist with a great attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail. As an integral part of the dental team, the dental hygienist's tasks include but are not limited to:

• Review and Update patient history records
• Patient charting
• Establish and maintain exceptional patient care realtionships
• Perform adult/child prophylaxis
• Perform periodontal therapy and perio charting
• Perform sealant placement and flouride treatment as needed
• Sterilization of room and equipment
• Adhere to appropriate Polices and Procedures
• Assist the physician(s) and other staff members as needed

Qualifications include:

• Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school
• Current NC Hygiene License
• Maintain BLS, OSHA, HIPPA, and infection control training as required by law
