Dental Hygienist – Full-Time or Part-Time

We are looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! We have either a full-time and part-time opportunity available and are looking for someone who wants to be part of a positive, supportive practice where your skills and contributions are truly valued.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, patient-focused, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. We prefer 1+ years of dental hygiene experience, and familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid District of Columbia Dental Hygiene License
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including prophylaxis and SRP
• Educate patients on their oral health and recommended treatment
• Complete periodontal charting and identify periodontal conditions
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
• Provide home-care instructions and preventive recommendations
• Work closely with the dentist to help identify and communicate patients' treatment needs
• Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation
