Dental Hygienist for Mondays

We are a single doctor private practice providing fee-for-service comprehensive dentistry with a great team atmosphere in NE Portland. Our growing practice is seeking a dental hygienist to work on Mondays with potential to work more days in the near future. Our office is very unique in the way we schedule and treat hygiene patients. On average, each hygienist sees five patients per day, allowing our hygienists to provide very thorough care. Our goal is to deliver the finest quality dental care and services to our patients in a friendly, professional, and personal environment.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/attributes:

• Prefer to have a hygienist with experience in a periodontal specialist office
• One year of full-time hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply
• Active license in the state of Oregon
• Experience providing high quality SRP and periodontal maintenance as our office has a large population of periodontal patients
• Competent local anesthesia administration
• Commitment to continuing education and improvement of clinical abilities
• Outgoing and compassionate as many of our patients have been with our practice for years
• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience with Eaglesoft dental software
• Dependable and honest
• Computer skills are a must as we are a fully digital office
• Works well within a team atmosphere
• Positive attitude

Compensation:

This position includes paid time off, bonus pay, retirement matching, and an hourly wage based on ability and experience. We are a Monday through Thursday dental office.

Job Type: 9+ hours per week

Pay: $62.00 - $70.00 per hour plus bonuses
