We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and compassionate Dental Patient Coordinator who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience.

Our practice utilizes an AI program that assists with patient recare and insurance verification, along with advanced technology for appointment confirmations and patient communications. These tools help streamline administrative tasks while allowing our team to spend more time focusing on our patients.

What You'll Do

As our Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for every patient while helping our front office run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome patients warmly and make them feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out.
• Schedule and coordinate hygiene appointments while maintaining an efficient office calendar.
• Maintain accurate patient records and information using Eaglesoft.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits and assist with insurance breakdowns.
• Utilize our AI-supported systems to assist with patient recare and insurance verification.
• Utilize our advanced patient communication and confirmation systems to help maintain strong patient engagement and reduce missed appointments.
• Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and payment options.
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Coordinate with the dental team to ensure excellent communication and smooth patient flow.
• Assist with administrative and front-office duties as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional reception area.
• Follow office policies and applicable health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental office experience is required.
• Previous experience in a dental front-office, patient coordinator, or dental receptionist role.
• Experience with Eaglesoft is required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.
• Experience with dental insurance, benefit verification, and insurance breakdowns.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 codes and treatment/care plans is a plus.
• Comfortable learning and using modern dental technology, AI-supported systems, and digital communication tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy dental office.
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
