We are looking for an outstanding Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team and provide quality periodontal care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry and be driven and committed to providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be open and willing to learn the latest dental techniques and procedures (such as the Airflow GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) system that uses a controlled stream of warmed water, compressed air, and fine erythritol powder to gently and painlessly remove plaque (biofilm), early tartar, and stubborn stains from teeth and gums). Our goal is to help patients achieve optimal oral, and overall, health and well being by: empowering them through knowledge; training them on most effective homecare techniques; performing minimally invasive periodontal treatment; helping them to better understand the mouth-body connection and the need for recommended periodontal treatment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive care.
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Encourage patient to schedule needed periodontal treatment
• Assist the dentist in providing treatment.
• Maintain patient records and periodontal charting & update them as needed.
• Perform radiographs and other diagnostic tests as directed by the dentist.
• Take digital impressions of teeth for study models or dental prosthetics.
• Apply fluoride and other cavity preventing agents to teeth.
• Apply desensitizer gel as needed
• Sub-gingival irrigation
• Perform root planing procedures with local anesthesia, as needed.

Pay: $67.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
