Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
- Administer local anesthesia
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software system
- Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Colorado
- Proficiency in using Dentrix software systems for patient record management
- Knowledge of medical coding systems for accurate billing and insurance claims
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and follow treatment plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dental office environment
