Duties

• Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency
• Schedule appointments using dental practice management software, ensuring optimal patient flow
• Verify patient insurance coverage as needed, process payments, and handle collections accurately
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
• Manage phone communication with patients regarding appointments, billing inquiries, and follow-up care plans
• Supportive administrative tasks including data entry, processing correspondence, scheduling appointments and computer updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a dental front desk role with strong knowledge of dental office procedures
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes
• Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
• Strong computer skills
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
