Dental Front Desk Receptionist

A general dental office near Brighton Beach is looking for an experienced front-desk dental receptionist and treatment coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor
• Present treatment plans to patients, explaining clinical details, financial options, and insurance coverage clearly
• Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and confirmations to maintain an efficient hygiene and doctor schedule
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and triage patient calls appropriately
• Collect co-pays, process patient payments, and coordinate daily front-desk transactions
• Work closely with our off-site Office Manager to ensure smooth administrative and billing workflows
• Maintain accurate patient records and update personal/insurance information
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area
• Assist with other front-desk and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a front-desk dental receptionist or treatment coordinator in a general dental practice
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and financial/treatment presentation techniques
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency in Dentrix and basic computer applications
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Knowledge of basic dental insurance plans and co-pay structures
• Fluent in English (fluency in Russian or a second language is a plus/preferred)

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
