Duties

• Greet and welcome patients warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits to ensure optimal patient flow.
• Handle phone calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about dental services.
• Verify patient insurance details, explain coverage options, and assist with insurance claims processing.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collect payments and process billing transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely preparation for patient appointments.
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and professional at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with patients and team members.
• Basic knowledge of dental insurance procedures and billing processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using office software such as scheduling systems, electronic health records, or similar tools is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
