Dental Front Office Coordinator

Job Summary

We are a new dental anesthesia office and surgery center in Medina looking for an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our team!

We are a small office, so finding the right personality and team fit is very important to us. We are looking for someone who is friendly, upbeat, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

We primarily work with children and patients with special needs, so our ideal candidate is warm, patient, personable, and enjoys making patients and families feel comfortable and welcomed.

Previous dental office experience is important. We will train you on our specific anesthesia and surgery-center processes, but we're looking for someone who understands dental front-office basics, can catch on quickly, and is comfortable taking initiative.

Responsibilities

* Answering phones and assisting patients and families

* Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

* Communicating with referring dental offices

* Coordinating referrals, paperwork, and medical clearances

* Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits

* Submitting preauthorizations and dental claims

* Collecting and documenting patient payments

* General front-office and administrative responsibilities

* Familiar with dental insurance, preauthorizations, and claims

* A quick learner who takes initiative

* Comfortable working with children and individuals with special needs

* Open Dental experience is a plus!

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
