Full-Time Dental Assistant Join Our Friendly and Supportive Dental Team

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is organized, confident in their clinical skills, and committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.

Position: Full-Time Dental Assistant
Pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience required

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients for dental procedures
• Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and other dental procedures
• Take digital X-rays in accordance with state regulations
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Follow infection-control, OSHA, and safety guidelines
• Accurately update patient records, treatment notes, and charting
• Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education
• Monitor clinical supplies and help maintain inventory
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Help patients feel welcomed, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit
• Support the clinical team and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience
• Current Dental Assistant certification or registration, when required
• Current dental radiography/X-ray certification
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection-control protocols
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well in a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Dentrix or other dental software experience is a plus
