Dental Assistant-Treatment Plan Coordinator

Mondays - Thursday, from 7:15 AM - 4:45 PM approximately

Fridays, from 7:15 AM to 1 PM, approximately with every other Friday OFF!

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour to start (possibly higher with 5 yrs experience) plus collections bonuses on top of hourly wage.

Job description:

Now hiring for an experienced full-time Dental Assistant and a Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our recently remodeled, up-to-date, and expanded dental office (Private Practice too!)

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
• Previous experience in a dental setting (not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, and maintain a sterile work environment.
• Set up instrument trays and prepare materials for procedures.
• Take and correctly label dental X-rays.
• Update and maintain patient records, including charting dental care services.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Create and present treatment plans
• Knowledge of insurance and insurance breakdowns
• Schedule patient appointments and assist with billing and payment procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort by welcoming, seating, and draping them for treatment.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, coding practices, and dental insurance information or a very willing commitment to study and learn with guidance.

Job Type: Full-time

Staring Pay is $18 - 22/hour or MORE depending on experience and proven skill level.
