Dental Assistant – Endodontic Specialty Practice (Springfield, OH)
$21–$27/hour | Full-time, 4-day work week | No evenings or weekends

We're an endodontic specialty practice focused on precise treatment, patient comfort and high clinical standards. We're looking for a skilled, caring Dental Assistant to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Assist the endodontist chairside during root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies and other procedures
• Prepare operatories, instruments and materials following infection-control protocols
• Take and process digital radiographs, including CBCT (3-D) imaging
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed before, during and after treatment, since many arrive anxious or in pain
• Keep accurate, detailed patient records in our endodontic practice software
• Sterilize instruments and keep work areas clean and organized
• Communicate professionally with patients, teammates and referring offices
• Help at the front desk as needed, including answering phones and scheduling

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer certificate, or willingness to get it (we'll help)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Endodontic or specialty experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person
• Comfort with digital imaging and dental software
• A solid understanding of infection control and sterilization
• Warm, clear communication with patients and colleagues
• Detail-oriented, dependable, reliable and steady in a fast-paced setting

What We Offer

• Pay: $21–$27/hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Usually 4 days a week, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (about 34–38 hours a week)
