Dental Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental team. The ideal candidate is professional, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with general, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take dental X-rays and assist with imaging when needed.
• Provide chairside assistance and help keep patients comfortable.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems such as Open Dental
• Follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Take vital signs and update medical records as needed.
• Help with scheduling appointments and patient communication.
• Use dental technology, including digital/3D scanners.
• Assist with dental coding and billing when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control.
• Experience with X-rays and chairside assisting.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience with dental coding is a plus.
