We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at River Rock Dental!

Our ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong communication and customer service skills, and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn and grow with our practice.

Dental experience is a plus, but we are willing to provide on-the-job training for the right person. Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentist, hygienist, and other team members to provide excellent patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Assisting the hygienist as needed
• Taking digital dental radiographs
• Reviewing and obtaining patient medical histories
• Recording and charting patient information accurately
• Preparing treatment rooms for procedures
• Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing dental instruments and equipment
• Following proper infection-control and sterilization procedures
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Providing patients with post-operative and oral-care instructions
• Maintaining clean, organized treatment rooms and work areas
• Helping keep the clinical schedule running smoothly and efficiently
• Providing support to other members of the dental team as needed
