Dental Assistant / RDA

You will play a vital role in supporting the clinical team, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our state-of-the-art dental practice.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures, providing four-handed dentistry support.
• Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring high-quality medical imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage patient records using electronic medical records systems like Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
• Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to foster understanding and comfort.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent license; experience in general dentistry is required.
• Proficiency with dental equipment including X-ray machines, digital imaging tools.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while adhering to healthcare infection prevention and control standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring a positive experience.
• Must have experience as a dental assistant.

DA pay rate - $25-27

RDA - $27-29
