Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging
- Maintain patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Skills:
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Curve
- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and medical imaging
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
