Dental Assistant

I'm looking for a talented dental assistant, cross-trained to work the front desk as well, with at least 5 years of rigorous experience in a GENERAL DENTISTRY OFFICE to grow with my boutique private practice located in New Canaan, CT. Ideal candidate will have experience with Open Dental software. Must be cross-trained with front desk capabilities.

Requirements:

-5+ years assisting procedures in a GP setting

-Organized

-Efficient

-Knowledgeable

-Motivated and aim to be elite in your field

Part-Time to start with full-time in the near future with full benefits

Hours will be as needed initially but are roughly:

Mondays 11-7

Fridays 9-5

Saturdays 10-4

Key Responsibilities:

• Have excellent rapport with patients and make them feel comfortable
• Provide advanced chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
• Take high-quality dental X-rays and impressions with efficiency and care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to the highest standards
• Deliver outstanding patient education and post-treatment care instructions
• Enter treatment plans/codes into Open Dental accurately
• Schedule patients for followup care appropriately
• Front office duties: taking calls, checking patients in and out, entering payments
• Keep the office tidy, organized and well-stocked
• Support the dentist and clinical team with smooth daily operations

Compensation based on experience.
