We have been voted BEST DENTIST in Snohomish County for our amazing staff and patients and we'd love to add another experienced chair side Dental Assistant. We are privately owned and have been serving Snohomish County for decades with a reputation for doing strong ethical dentistry in a caring team environment.

Help us in preparing treatment rooms, assisting doctor chairside during various restorative procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient management, customer service and infection control will help create a seamless experience for every patient.

Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 8-5pm. We offer an exciting opportunity to grow your chair side skills in digital dentistry within a patient-centered family environment.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use in accordance with infection prevention management protocols
• Assist dentist while providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently that are common in a family and cosmetic dental office
• Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards and radiation safety protocols
• Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments using patient management software and updating medical records accurately in Eaglesoft
• Perform vital signs assessments and medical documentation to ensure comprehensive patient records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
• Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote optimal dental health
• Maintain strict infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and dental equipment maintenance to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures
• Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies
• Proficiency in dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools
• Skilled in using patient management like Eaglesoft software for scheduling and record keeping
• Knowledge of infection prevention management practices including sterilization procedures and healthcare infection control expertise
• Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
