Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dental team. In this role, you will be providing essential support to the dentist and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their oral health journey. This position requires availibility to work (Mon, Tues, Thurs 7:30-4:30 and possibly some Fridays) offers an exciting opportunity in a patient-centered Fee for Service practice, utilizing the latest dental technology and systems.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
• Assist dentists with a variety of general dental procedures
• Provide patient education on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene practices.
• Assist with dental imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols and radiation standards
• Must be a team player, work independently, and be able to multi-task.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with minimum 1 year experience.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology
• Knowledge of SoftDent or other dental software is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Certification in dental assisting.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
