Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time dedicated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. We are seeking a team-oriented person to join us.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Chairside assisting to the dentist to complete dental procedures, including, but not limited to: cleanings, restorative (filling and crown), endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement
• Assist Hygienists (time permitting)
• Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical records systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment.
• Support patients with empathy and care, ensuring their comfort during visits.
• Able to work Monday- Friday

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
• Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and X-ray procedures is required.
• Experience with infection control practices in a dental setting is required.
• Proficiency in Dentrix systems will be beneficial.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus

• Friday 8-1 (no lunch)
• No Saturdays or Sundays

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Leesburg, VA 20175 (Required)
