Dental Assistant

Hamilton Riverside Dentistry is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well with others, and is eager to contribute to a positive, professional dental environment.

Job Title: Dental Assistant
Practice: Hamilton Riverside Dentistry
Employment Type: Full-Time or
Schedule: Monday to Friday and Some Saturday
Pay: $16+ DOE
Location: Hamilton, Ohio

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental treatment in a warm and professional manner
• Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable regulations
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Assist with patient charting and accurate documentation
• Provide patients with clear pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories
• Assist with laboratory procedures and dental impressions when needed
• Support the dental team with daily clinical and office responsibilities
• Help ensure patients have a comfortable and positive experience

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Dental assisting certification/credentials preferred, as applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control
• Comfortable working directly with patients of all ages
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
