Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Park Avenue Dental Associates is a busy, privately owned family dental practice in Cranston, RI, seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork. Our office is fully digital and committed to providing high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during a variety of general dental procedures
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms before and after each patient
• Take high-quality digital dental radiographs and intraoral photographs
• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Assist with additional clinical duties as needed to support the doctors and team

Qualifications

• Current Dental X-Ray Certification (Required)
• Experience in general dentistry preferred
• Eaglesoft experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Compensation

$23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM
• No evenings or weekends

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification

• Dental X-Ray Certification (Required)
