Dental Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED full time dental assistant to join our dental team!

**EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED -- WE WILL NOT TRAIN**

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting (hygiene, restorative, endo, prostho, implant dentistry)
• Prepare treatment and break down rooms
• Digital Xrays -- **Active VA Xray Certification is required**
• Manage patient records accurately using patient management software(Dentrix), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and clinical confidentiality policies.
• Maintain dental equipment functionality through routine inspection and troubleshooting; assist with dental sterilization procedures to uphold infection control standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality clinical assistance.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is REQUIRED.
• Proficiency with Dentrix
• Experience with digital scanning preferred (iTero and Cerec)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
