Position Overview

The Dental Assistant - Float must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination of the patient visit
• Assist the Dentist through patient flow coordination
• Provide chair-side assistance when scheduled in the treatment area

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Dental Radiographers license required
• Formal Dental Assisting training preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ of dental office experience preferred
• Windows-based computer experience required
