Position Overview

We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
• Record and update patients’ medical histories and vital signs.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control protocols.
• Prepare treatment rooms and organize instruments before patient appointments.
• Support the front office and clinical staff with daily operations when needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures, instructions, and follow-up care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Experience in a dental office setting is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
