Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during general, restorative, and surgical dental procedures
• Preparing operatories prior to patient arrival and ensuring proper setup
• Efficient operatory turnover between patients
• Taking high-quality digital radiographs
• Maintaining patient comfort and proper suction/airway management during procedures
• Preparing instruments and materials for procedures
• Assisting with sterilization and infection control protocols
• Monitoring clinical inventory and notifying the doctor when supplies are running low
• Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred
• X-ray certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dental software (such as Open Dental or Dentrix) is a plus
