Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing efficient, quality dental treatment while maintaining excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Manage inventory of dental supplies

Skills
- Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
- Familiarity with medical coding practices
- Experience with dental software such as Epic and Eaglesoft
- Ability to take and develop dental X-rays
- Understanding of endodontic procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong background in dental assisting techniques
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
