Tiesworth Family Dentistry is a small business in North Chesterfield, VA. Our goal is to take great care of patients, and to provide a fun and friendly setting for both patients and employees.

Normal office hours:

Monday : 7:35am- 5:00pm

Tuesday: 7:35am- 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 7:35am- 5:00pm

Thursday: 7:35am- 5:00pm

Friday: 7:50 am- 1:00pm

With lunch 12:15- 1:00pm Monday- Thursday

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Perform medical coding for billing purposes
- Assist with pediatric dental procedures as needed
- Conduct patient assessments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Experience working in a dental office preferred
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental prosthetics is a plus
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
