Dental Assistant

Dental assistant wanted for a caring professional dental practice in Kona. We are looking for a detail oriented person who loves helping others and is committed to exceptional customer service and dental care. Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and answer phones.
• Assist dentist.
• Take x rays
• Set up & break down treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments
• Operate dental equipment.
• Perform cleanup duties.
• Entering treatment plans and discussing treatment with patients

Qualifications

• Proficient in dental assisting and general dentistry practices
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy
• Experience with 3D scanning and aseptic techniques
• Familiarity with EMR systems, including Dentrix and Eaglesoft
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry
• Ability to perform X-rays and manage vital signs
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
