Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Your dedication to patient care and teamwork will be essential in delivering the high-quality service our patients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring a calm and comfortable experience for every patient
• Set up, clean, and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and organized per OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Take high-quality digital X-rays and 3D scans when required
• Accurately chart and update patient records in dental software
• Reinforce post-op care and educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans with empathy and clarity
• Maintain proper stock of clinical supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order through routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support front desk staff when needed
• Contribute to a team-first culture by supporting others, adapting to challenges, and sharing a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience (preferred).
• Certification: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license as per state requirements.
• X-Ray License: Must hold a valid Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification to legally take X-rays.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with digital dental software (e.g., Dentrix) and digital imaging/intraoral cameras.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and a solid understanding of dental terminology and instruments.

Work Schedule :

We are looking for a team member to join us three days a week. The set schedule for this position is Friday, and Saturday, with the optional flexibility to work Tuesdays & Wednesday if desired.
