Nova Dental is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Newark, NJ. If you are passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have at least one year of dental assisting experience, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized.
• Can Take and process dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations).
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside assistance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus but not mandatory. We can train on softwares.
