Job Title: Bilingual Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant (Spanish & English)

Location: Overland Park, KS and Gladstone, MO
Pay: $18 to $23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, [hours, e.g. 7:30am to 5pm]. No Fridays or weekends.

Petal Dental is a friendly, patient-focused dental practice with offices in Overland Park and Gladstone. We care about making every patient feel welcome and comfortable, and we're looking for a bilingual team member to help us do that for our Spanish-speaking families.

About the Role
This is a hybrid position covering both the front desk and chairside assisting. You'll split your time between our two offices. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and likes working directly with people.

What You'll Do

• Greet patients, check them in and out, and answer phones in English and Spanish
• Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits
• Verify insurance and collect payments
• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
• Seat patients, take X-rays, and prepare and clean treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and keep the office stocked
• Help translate and explain treatment plans for Spanish-speaking patients

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking required, reading and writing a plus)
• Reliable transportation to travel between Overland Park and Gladstone
• Warm, patient, and professional with a positive attitude
• Dental front office or assisting experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person
• Experience with Open Dental is a plus!
