Associate General Dentist

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and professionalism.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate treatment plans.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with specialists such as oral surgeons, orthodontists, and prosthodontists when necessary to provide comprehensive care.
• Use dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, billing, and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
• Adhere to all healthcare diagnosis standards and stay updated on current dental practices and innovations.
• Ensure compliance with all state healthcare regulations and professional standards throughout clinical operations.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a focus on general dentistry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Extensive knowledge of dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and healthcare diagnosis processes.
• Experience performing dental extractions, root canals, implant placements, and other complex procedures using aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and medical imaging techniques essential for accurate diagnosis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with state-specific healthcare regulations governing medical documentation and patient privacy.
