Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care.
• Diagnose dental conditions through thorough patient assessments and utilize advanced medical imaging techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, dental diagnosis, and healthcare diagnosis principles.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Manage pediatric dentistry cases with patience and expertise, including providing dental care tailored for children.
• Conduct oral surgery procedures such as dental implants, extractions, and other surgical interventions following aseptic technique standards.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Use dental practice management software such as open dental to schedule appointments, document treatments, and manage patient information efficiently.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently to maintain a sterile environment for all procedures.
• Collaborate with the team on dental fabrication projects like crowns or bridges to ensure quality outcomes.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures and specialized areas such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery.
• Proficiency in using dental imaging equipment and understanding anatomy for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Strong client communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and empathetically.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for seamless documentation.
• Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, implant placements, and other surgical procedures confidently.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare diagnosis processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $143,503.02 - $172,820.83 per year
