Associate Dentist

West Corona Dentistry is seeking a personable, skilled and patient-focused Associate Dentist interested in providing comprehensive dental services within our modern private-practice setting.

We have built a strong reputation in the community by focusing on individualized patient care, clinical quality and an excellent patient experience.

This opportunity is intended for a licensed dentist who values professional autonomy and is comfortable independently exercising their clinical judgment in the diagnosis, treatment planning and delivery of dental care.

About the Practice

West Corona Dentistry provides access to modern clinical technology and equipment, including:

• Digital radiography
• CBCT
• Intraoral scanning
• 3D printing
• Modern restorative materials and equipment
• Comprehensive treatment capabilities

The practice serves PPO, self-pay and Medi-Cal patients. We do not participate with HMO plans.

Independent Contractor Opportunity

The dentist will provide professional dental services as an independent contractor and independent licensed professional, subject to the terms of a written Independent Contractor Agreement.

The contracting dentist:

• Maintains independent professional and clinical judgment regarding diagnosis, treatment planning and patient care.
• Determines the manner and means by which professional dental services are performed, consistent with applicable laws and accepted standards of care.
• Works collaboratively with the practice regarding mutually agreeable days and availability.
• May maintain other professional activities, employment, businesses or dental engagements, subject to applicable contractual obligations and patient-care responsibilities.
• Maintains an active California dental license and any other licenses or certifications necessary to perform the services offered.
• Maintains their own professional malpractice insurance as required by the Independent Contractor Agreement.
• Is responsible for applicable taxes and other obligations arising from independent-contractor compensation.
• Will be compensated pursuant to the parties' written Independent Contractor Agreement.

Nothing in this opportunity is intended to restrict the dentist's independent clinical judgment or establish control over the manner and means by which the dentist performs professional dental services.

Preferred Qualifications

We are interested in dentists who:

• Hold an active and unrestricted California dental license
• Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment
• Provide compassionate and respectful patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and members of the dental team
• Endo experience and Implant Dentistry experience is a plus
• Are organized and comfortable practicing comprehensive dentistry
• Have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Experience with the following is a plus but not required:

• Implant placement
• Molar endodontics
• Surgical and nonsurgical extractions
• Comprehensive restorative dentistry

Dentists who would like additional exposure to these procedures may voluntarily collaborate with experienced clinicians within our group.

Professional Autonomy

West Corona Dentistry recognizes that dentists are independently licensed health care professionals. Clinical decisions, including diagnosis, treatment recommendations and the manner in which treatment is performed, remain within the professional judgment of the treating dentist.

The specific terms of the relationship, including compensation, scheduling availability, professional responsibilities, insurance requirements and termination provisions, will be established in a mutually agreed written Independent Contractor Agreement.
