Associate Dentist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging technology.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent.
• Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
• Utilize dental software systems such as Softdent for scheduling, charting, billing, and record management to streamline workflow.
• Apply infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during procedures.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments.
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare diagnosis standards, dental terminology accuracy, and client communication best practices for optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a licensed Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry in the respective region.
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental office software like Softdent.
• Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation standards necessary for comprehensive patient records management.
• Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks and utilize medical imaging equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records and patient privacy.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus; additional certifications in anesthesiology or pediatric dentistry are advantageous but not required.

Compensation

• This will largely be production based.
• It'll be a combination of production and collections.
