Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging technology
• Diagnose dental conditions accurately using dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis principles, ensuring proper treatment planning
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft, Dexis to document patient information, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures such as oral surgery and endodontics
• Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding
• Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort while delivering quality care

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable
• Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, dental fabrication, and client communication
• Familiarity with dental office software including Eaglesoft and Dexis for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance
• Skills in performing dental extractions, implant restorations, basic oral surgery procedures, prosthodontics (crowns/bridges), and other advanced treatments
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
