Dental Assistant with Radiology License

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team Saturday and Sunday. Entry-level is encouraged! The ideal candidate must be licensed in radiology and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care within our dental clinic. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. A background in pediatric dentistry or experience with medical imaging is highly desirable. We are open on the weekends, so ability to work Friday - Sunday is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using electronic health record systems.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in various specialties, including pediatrics and prosthodontics.

Requirements

• Ability to capture 3D scanning technology and medical imaging.
• Dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is essential.
• Ability to manage medical records efficiently within a dental clinic setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
