Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient safety
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs
• Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR)
• Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
• Support the dental team with general dentistry procedures and provide assistance during complex treatments
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding when necessary

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
