Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to work 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental hygiene procedures, and assisting in the overall efficiency of the dental practice.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
• Conduct medical imaging and assist with the interpretation of radiographs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for each patient visit.
• Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Monitor and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on current dental practices, technologies, and systems.

Requirements

• Valid RDH license in the state of CA
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures.
• Experience in dental assisting is preferred
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and documentation systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care and build rapport with patients.
• Willingness to stay current with continuing education requirements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
