Tague Dental Care in St. Petersburg is hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist who enjoys building patient relationships, takes pride in thorough care, and wants to be an important part of the practice.

Your Role

You will play a key role in our patients’ care, from helping them feel comfortable in the chair to explaining treatment needs and supporting their long-term oral health.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing preventive and periodontal care, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Completing oral health assessments and periodontal charting, and communicating findings to the dentist
• Educating patients about home care, treatment recommendations, and prevention
• Applying fluoride and sealants, and administering local anesthesia when appropriately qualified
• Maintaining accurate patient records and following infection control and safety protocols
• Working closely with the dentist, clinical team, and front office to coordinate care and keep the patient experience running smoothly

Requirements:

• Active Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in preventive and periodontal care
• Ability to explain oral health findings and treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately
• Attention to detail in patient care, documentation, and infection control
• Dependability, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to working with the team
