As a Registered Dental Hygienist with Simba Dental, you will be responsible for delivering Distinctive Patient Experience to our growing patient base. We are seeking an individual who has a commitment to excellence in their actions, words, and intention. You should be seeking to be the best version of yourself while striving to continuously grow and innovate to better serve our patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Ensure patient's comfort before their examination

Help sterilize dental instruments properly

Conduct initial mouth exam and screenings

Check patient's medical and dental history

Identify gingivitis, periodontitis, and dental caries

Clean patients' teeth (regular prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, coronal polishing)

Help protect patient's teeth (apply fluoride or varnish as needed)

Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)

Give instructions to patients following procedures

Take imaging X-rays as needed, and Intraoral scans

Assist dentists to identify oral lesions that may require biopsy

Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Schedule patient's next recall visit(s)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate degree, or equivalent in Dental Hygiene

New graduates welcome; clinical experience is a plus

Local Anesthesia License in the state of Indiana, preferred

Dental Hygiene License in the state of Indiana, required

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compassionate to patients, and team members

Knowledge of Health and safety regulations in the dental profession (such as HIPAA)

Experience in preparing and maintaining dental instruments

Excellent Time Management and organizational skills

Superior personality and chairside manners

Attention to detail

Grit and Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job

Although we expect production, planning and management must be patient centric. The production and collection will become organic.

Good practical business skills; decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time (open to part-time)

Pay: $46.00 per hour, or 33% of net collected production, whichever is higher

Schedule: Monday through Thursday. No nights, no weekends. 32 to 40 hours per week, and you choose your hours within that range

Expected Hours: 32 to 40 per week

Work Location: In person
